The brightest Full Moon of 2025 illuminates the sky in the sensual and grounding realm of Taurus. Here, we are invited to come back to our bodies, anchor in the present, and reconnect with our most fundamental resources and self-worth. In a world that often feels chaotic and uncertain, this lunation is an invitation to seek the simple pleasures that make life worth living. Slow down, find your footing, embrace the earthly energy, and remember: nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
Every Full Moon creates an opposition as the Moon sits in the sign directly opposite the Sun. These moments illuminate the inherent tension between the two signs, challenging us to achieve a balance between their conflicting energies.
In this case, we have the intricate Sun in Scorpio opposing the grounded Moon in Taurus. Scorpio pushes us towards deep personal awareness and transformation. Taurus just wants our senses satiated: full bellies, money in the bank, and a working furnace or AC to come home to.
Scorpio season brings an energy that yearns to find meaning in life's obscure, deeper mysteries. Taurus just wants to indulge in the pleasure of being here now in a way that feels secure. If Taurus is the solid earth offering a foundation to build upon, Scorpio is the endless well of deep water running beneath it, urging us to explore its secrets. Transform what needs changing while accepting what doesn't then create from a place of worthiness and beauty. When we integrate the highest expressions of both signs, we unlock the wisdom the Full Moon offers.
No matter your sign, we all feel the intensity of a Full Moon. But this Super Full Moon in Taurus will be especially potent for those with placements in the fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Supermoon Season
Every year, we typically expect about three to four Supermoons, and this year we are seeing three of them back-to-back in October, November, and December.
A Supermoon occurs when a Full Moon occurs near its perigee, the point in the Moon's orbit closest to Earth. This proximity makes the Moon appear noticeably brighter, bigger, and closer than usual.
Not only do Supermoons appear larger in the sky, but we also feel the Moon's gravitational pull more strongly. Since Full Moons already bring heightened awareness, emotional release, and amplified energy, a Supermoon's increased brightness and proximity further intensifies these lunar energies.
We can use these Supermoons to draw in even more lunar power to call in abundance, clarify ideas, and release old habits related to the astrological signs that are prevalent in the sky. Taurus asks: How can you build and manifest in ways that are tangible and touchable?

Taurus's Grounding Call
The sign of Taurus fundamentally thrives on stability--whether that be financial, material, or relational. This year, the grounding forces of the Taurus Full Moon comes at a particularly demanding time, as many struggle to meet even basic human needs.
In the states, this November brings an added layer of collective stress. We are navigating stressors like a looming government shutdown, reductions in SNAP benefits, and the heightened pressures of general elections, all while anticipating the financial and emotional demands of the holiday season.
This Full Moon highlights the tension between holding on to external control and surrendering to internal trust. It asks us to deeply examine where we cling to safety and where we are truly aligned with life's natural, sometimes chaotic, rhythm.
Allow this lunation to illuminate your inner patterns around security, resources, and self-worth. The task of the Taurus Full Moon is not to create stability, but to redefine it from the inside out, helping you access the security that is already deeply rooted within yourself. When we build an unshakable inner foundation, we can truly expand, create, and live freely.
On this Full Moon, ask yourself: where and when do I feel the most safe and secure? When my needs feel unmet, where am I unconsciously resorting to clinging, resisting, hoarding, or controlling?

Taurus Moon: The Queen of Comfort
Life-evolving transformation requires insight, and that insight is often found in stillness. The Moon in Taurus thrives on comfort, warmth, and satisfying our basic human needs (especially when done in a way that feels luxurious). When you ground your body in comfort, your mind can find the quiet needed to consciously process the emotions this Full Moon brings to light.
The key to benefiting from this Taurus-fueled Full Moon is to slow down, ground yourself, and intentionally seek stability in your surroundings. Here, I invite you to find a sense of inner steadiness and stability amidst any internal and external stressful forces at play. To help guide you through this process, I offer you the following Full Moon in Taurus ritual.
Full Moon in Taurus Grounding Ritual
Taurus loves stimulating the senses. We can use sensory experiences to help ground ourselves, offering a sense of stability, comfort, and calmness. Use this ritual to help you de-stress and find your footing under the Taurus Full Moon. Feel free to adapt and personalize it based on what feels right for you.
Tip: Incorporate the Scorpio element of water by switching out the soft blanket and performing this ritual in the bath.
This ritual uses the 5 Senses Grounding Technique (also known as the 5-4-3-2-1 technique). This self-soothing activity is known to redirect focus away from stressful or anxious thoughts toward your immediate surroundings through sensory awareness.
What you'll need:
✶ your favorite scented lotion or body oil (smell)
✶ a non-caffeinated beverage of your choice (taste)
✶ your softest, coziest blanket (touch)
✶ calming, meditative music like this youtube video (hearing)
✶ a candle, incense, or essential oil diffuser (sight)
✶ your journal if you want to write down any insights that come to you during this ritual
First, prepare your beverage and gather all the tools listed above.
Find a private space where you can be alone without distractions or disturbances.
Set the mood: turn on your music, dim the lights, and light your candle or incense, or turn on your diffuser.
Sit in a comfortable position and wrap yourself in your blanket.
Take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Inhale fresh, calming energy. Exhale any lingering thoughts or worries weighing on your mind.
If it feels right to your practice, speak the words:
"I invite the light of the Taurus Full Moon
to illuminate my emotions so I may see them,
to bring me back to my body so I feel grounded,
to quiet my worries so I can hear my intuition,
and to help me find comfort in the space and body I'm in."
Focus on your candle, incense, or diffuser. Watch the flame dance, the smoke swirl, or the diffuser's water evaporate. Focus on it for a moment, then look around your space and mentally identify 5 things you can see.
After you identified 5 things you can see, relax deeper into the blanket that encircles you. Snuggle into it, rubbing your face against its softness, feeling it connect with your bare skin. Now, notice 4 physical things you can feel.
Move your attention to the music playing. Listen for and acknowledge 3 distinct sounds. These could be different elements you pick out of the music, or sounds outside of it, like background noise or activity outside.
Now, apply your lotion or body oil, focusing solely on that. Feel the texture as you place it in your hands and massage it into your skin slowly and intentionally. Inhale the scent, imagining it wrap around your body like a comforting cocoon. Identify 2 things you can smell.
Finally, take a sip of your beverage and focus on this 1 thing you can taste. Take the time to notice the color, scent, warmth/chill, and texture of the beverage before you take a sip. Focus on the many flavors it presents.
Feel free to repeat this 5-4-3-2-1 sensory process as many times as feels right. Use this exercise to ground yourself before starting any other rituals you feel called to do under the Full Moon.
Timing: The Moon will be in Taurus from 11:16 AM ET Tuesday, November 4th through 10:21 AM ET on Thursday, November 6th. Use this time span to perform the ritual if you desire to connect with the energy of the Taurus Full Moon. However, this grounding exercise can be used anytime you feel a need for it, not just during this Full Moon.
May you find comfort in pursuit of your transformation under this Full Moon in Taurus.
Sending love and insight,
-Kendra
