One simple ritual I do around January 1st is add the major moon phases, astrological seasons, transits, and witchy holidays to my planner. I personally believe it's beneficial to have a lunar calendar somewhere I'll see it everyday.
Adding these shifts to your calendar, puts them in the forefront of your mind, making it easier to align your life with the Moon's phases and the energy of the planets.
Whether you're cozying up in hibernation mode or stepping into a new era this month, may you find peace in the fact that, no matter how time passes, the Moon is always there to support you.
Reminder: New Moons are supportive times to set intentions and plant the seeds while Full Moons are a time for culmination and release. Each lunation reflects the energies of the sign where it occurs while also impacting the part of your birth chart that contains said sign.
PLEASE NOTE: If you live in the northern hemisphere, below are the proper dates of the wheel of the year festivals, while the italicized snippets align with the southern hemisphere.
All Moon phase and zodiac aspects are calculated in Eastern Time. Pacific Time dates are in parenthesis when the time zone affects the exact date. Major Moon phases are bolded, and zodiac seasons are italicized for clarity. Times are taken from the astro-seek.com website. Full Moon names are from the Farmer's Almanac.
Also- I do triple check my work from multiple sources, but if you feel a date or transit is incorrect, please feel free to reach out. I'm only human.
Wishing you a prosperous and abundant 2026! May your magic always work in your favor.
